St. John Light of Learning Award Winners

Twenty educators from the South Bend area will receive the Light of Learning award in recognition of their positive impact on Catholic education.

The St. John Light of Learning Award winner of 2011~2012 for teaching is Mrs. Jen Treber.  She has spent the last 13 years teaching 3rd Grade to St. John students. Mrs. Treber has a B.S. in Education from Indiana State University.

This year’s Light of Learning administrative recipient of South Bend is our Principal, Janet Wroblewski.  She has been teaching in the Diocese for 16 years and has been Principal at St. John the Baptist for the past 9 years. She received her B.A. in Elementary Education from St. Mary's College and her Master of Science in Education from Indiana University.

Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades will serve as keynote speaker at the annual Luncheon in Celebration of Excellence in Catholic Education; where both of our recipients will be honored, sponsored by Quality Dining, Inc.
